Mini-Rant: Bell & Rogers
Dear Bell and Rogers,
Please stop making these commercials where you constantly bash each other. You both suck equally. And everyone knows it.
Sincerely,
Ally

Artist Spotlight: Alvaro Pantoja

Another awesome artist who showed up on FreshBump recently: Alvaro Pantoja Busch of Santiago, Chile. I've posted a bunch of his illustration work here.

Must-See Movie: Once
Today's must-see movie is a bit different. The 2006 movie Once directed by John Carney features a simple plotline, but fantastic music. The film tells the story of two musicians: Glen Hansard (a guitarist/singer from Dublin) and Markéta Irglová (a pianist from Czechoslovakia). It won an Oscar for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, a Critics Choice Award for Best Song, and numerous other awards for best score. Definitely check this one out!

Artist Spotlight: Dani Torrent

Today a really awesome illustrator showed up on Freshbump: Barcelona's Dani Torrent. If I could read Spanish, I could tell you more, but alas... images will have to do.
